Data Scientist

Location: Hamburg

Salary : TBC – depending on experience.

The client is a newly founded boutique consultancy based in Hamburg.

They advise DAX and Fortune Global 500 companies on data analytics, big data and machine learning issues, delivering value-added productive solutions.

They offer an  international working environment across agile teams and creative start-up methods.

Job Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in data science and big data

  • Educated to degree level

  • Experience in the application of analytical techniques in the areas of data mining, statistical modelling, machine learning or artificial intelligence

  • Knowledge of common analysis tools and programming languages (Python)

  • Ideally, knowledge of common platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Excellent communication skills in German and English

  • Innovation and willingness to travel

Tasks:

  • Advice and coaching of the customer on data science and AI topics

  • Data preparation and validation

  • Modelling and Evaluation of Predictive Models and Neural Networks

  • Application of algorithms and machine learning methods to business-relevant questions

  • Visualization of results and derivation of recommended actions

  • Selection and introduction of big data tools and technology stacks
